Heirloom Donuts to Close Its Downtown Newnan Location

by Celia

Heirloom Donuts will close its downtown Newnan location permanently on Thanksgiving, November 28, according to the company’s website. This marks the end of the business’s presence in Coweta County, as the Newnan store was the last Heirloom location in the area.

Although the downtown shop will close, the locally-made donuts will still be available at Frazier’s Convenience Stores and Percolate Newnan, located at 21 Market Square Way, the website confirmed.

Heirloom Donuts originally started in east Coweta, operating out of a renovated antique shop on Highway 54. The business expanded during the pandemic with a mobile donut shop, the Donut Drop. In April 2021, the family-owned company opened its downtown Newnan location.

In 2022, a fire destroyed the original shop on Highway 54, leaving the Newnan location as the sole storefront until the upcoming closure.
