Los Angeles-based Randy’s Donuts has announced a major expansion into Japan, with plans to open 50 stores across the country.
In a press release on Tuesday, the brand revealed it has finalized an agreement to bring its iconic donuts to Japan, starting with the first locations in Tokyo set to open in the second quarter of 2025.
“We are incredibly excited to bring Randy’s Donuts to Japan,” said Mark Lekegian, Owner of Randy’s Donuts. “This market offers a great opportunity to share our delicious donuts with even more fans around the world.”
Founded in 1952, Randy’s Donuts is famous for its flagship store in Inglewood, which features a 32-foot giant donut on the rooftop. The brand currently operates locations throughout Southern California, as well as in Las Vegas, the Philippines, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia.
