Dunkin’ is joining a growing list of businesses offering discounts and freebies to celebrate Election Day. On November 5, the popular coffee chain is giving its rewards members a special deal: a cold brew, usually priced higher, for just $3.
But Dunkin’ isn’t the only brand celebrating civic engagement. Krispy Kreme is offering free Original Glazed donuts and “I Voted” stickers at participating locations, while supplies last. Rideshare services like Lyft and Uber are also providing discounted rides for voters, and Hertz is offering deals on vehicle rentals for those who need a temporary car to get to the polls.
For those craving a sweet treat, Johnny Rockets is offering a free shake with any purchase at participating locations on Election Day. Yogurtland is also giving a 15% discount to customers who bring in their “I Voted” sticker.
Grubhub is marking the occasion with special offers as part of its ongoing Gold Days of Grubhub+ promotion. Voters can enjoy reduced service fees, free delivery, and more by subscribing to Grubhub+ ($9.99 per month). Meanwhile, IKEA is giving away free frozen yogurt at its Swedish bistros on Election Day in honor of the right to vote.
Holiday Treats Are Coming to Dunkin’
After Election Day, Dunkin’ is rolling out its festive holiday menu. On November 1, the coffee giant debuted a range of seasonal items designed to bring some cheer. Among the new offerings are the Hash Brown Brisket Scramble Bowl, Dunkin’s first-ever Almond Croissant, and the Holiday Cookie Signature Latte. Additionally, Dunkin’ is bringing back Free Donut Wednesdays on November 6.
The Hash Brown Brisket Scramble Bowl combines crispy hash browns, smoky cheddar cheese, poblano peppers, caramelized onions, scrambled eggs, and tender shredded brisket, making for a hearty meal. It builds on the success of Dunkin’s Loaded Hash Browns from last year.
Also returning this year is Dunkin’s popular Cookie Butter Cold Brew, available for a third time after selling out in previous years. This limited-edition drink features cookie butter cold foam, cookie butter crumbles, and a smooth cold brew, complementing the Cookie Butter Donut, a yeast donut filled with brown-sugar cookie butter buttercreme and topped with cookie butter crumbs.
“At Dunkin’, we believe the holidays are all about bringing people together,” said Beth Turenne, Dunkin’s vice president of category management. “Our new seasonal menu is full of festive flavors like the Holiday Cookie Signature Latte and Almond Croissant, alongside fan favorites like Peppermint Mocha and Cookie Butter Cold Brew.”
This holiday season, Dunkin’ is also offering its Donut Dozens and MUNCHKINS Donut Hole Treats in festive packaging, perfect for sharing with friends and family.
