Duck Donuts Opens New Location in Haymarket, VA, Offering Free Donuts.
HAYMARKET, VA — Duck Donuts has opened its doors in Haymarket, inviting food enthusiasts to enjoy free donuts during its grand opening on Saturday, October 19. The new shop is located at Crossroads Village Center, 6620 Watts Road, and is the third location in Prince William County, following stores in Bristow and Woodbridge.
Local owners Dheeraj and Marylee Tuniki are excited to bring their family tradition to the community. “Every year on our daughters’ birthdays, they wake up to warm, fresh donuts from Duck Donuts; it has become a special tradition for us,” Marylee Tuniki said. “We can’t wait to share this experience with families in Haymarket. We believe the community will enjoy our warm, made-to-order donuts as much as we do.”
The grand opening festivities begin at 7 a.m. The first customer will receive a free dozen donuts each month for a year. The next 50 customers will be rewarded with the “Sprinkling Happiness Package,” which includes two dozen donuts and a bucket of coffee for future use.
In addition to the opening, Duck Donuts is supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Mid Atlantic through its Quack Gives Back program. Customers can donate at the register or purchase a special-edition Wish Rubber Duck.
The new 1,167-square-foot location features an updated design, maintaining the brand’s signature beach theme while providing a family-friendly atmosphere.
Duck Donuts was founded in 2007, starting in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Since then, it has expanded to over 150 locations in 26 states, as well as in Puerto Rico and internationally in Thailand, Canada, and Qatar. The menu offers customizable vanilla cake donuts, various coffee blends, donut breakfast sandwiches, donut sundaes, frozen beverages, and milkshakes.
