Lena Lu Donuts to Launch First UK Locations in Primark Stores.
Australian donut brand Lena Lu Donuts is set to open its first three locations in the UK within the next few months. The new stores will be located in Primark at Lakeside and Watford, with a third location expected to open in Primark on Oxford Street in November.
The Lakeside store will open on October 14, followed by the Watford location on October 21.
Founded by entrepreneur Kym Hall, Lena Lu Donuts began in Perth, Western Australia. The brand has since expanded internationally, including a site at Lumiere Mall in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Lena Lu offers a diverse menu that features donuts, bagels, coffees, and shakes. Customers will have the opportunity to create their own donuts from a rotating selection of flavors, fillings, and toppings. Each Primark store will include a donut bar area, allowing customers to choose a donut or mini as a base and customize their sweet treats with various fillings, toppings, and sauces.
Grab-and-go areas in each location will showcase Lena Lu’s signature donut flavor combinations, including Cookies & Cream, Jam, Chocolate Hazelnut, and Biscoff Crunch.
Drew Clover, development director at Game Changers Investments, which is managing the UK launch, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion: “After the success of Lena Lu in the Middle East, it’s exciting to see the brand reimagined in the UK market. The concept is unique, and the partnership with Primark will accelerate the brand’s exposure in the UK.”

From humble beginnings in Perth to now partnering with Primark, it’s been an exciting road of growth and innovation. Bringing our interactive donut bar to Primark stores in the UK marks a special milestone for us.”
The company has indicated that more locations are planned for 2025.
