New Doughnut Shop to Open in Apple Valley.
Apple Valley, CA — The wait for doughnut lovers is almost over. Ravin’s Donuts & Boba Tea is set to open its doors on October 15, 2024, just in time for Halloween. Owners Sam and Raven Phon announced that the new shop will be located next to the AMPM at the corner of Highway 18 and Rancherias Road.
Opening Day Promotions
To celebrate the grand opening, all doughnuts and non-bottled drinks will be 25% off on the first day. The store will operate daily from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m..
A Fresh Start
In September, a tour of the new location revealed upgraded kitchen equipment and a welcoming lobby featuring custom counters and display cases for the doughnuts. “We’re almost there, boss,” Sam told the Daily Press. “Just a bit more work and we’ll be open.”
The Phons sold their Victorville store nearly two years ago and took a break from the business and social media. In April, they surprised their loyal customers by announcing the opening of their new store in Apple Valley. They kept fans updated on Facebook, encouraging them to “stay tuned” for news about the new location.
Building a Loyal Customer Base
Over the years, the Phons cultivated a loyal customer base at their Seventh Street Victorville store. They were known for their friendly service and a wide selection of homemade and specialty treats, including doughnuts, cupcakes, croissants, bagels, muffins, and cakes. Their menu also featured ice cream, smoothies, milkshakes, shaved ice, boba drinks, and various coffees.
The Phons created seasonal doughnuts for birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions. Popular themed doughnuts included designs inspired by Dodgers, Christmas, Pokémon, Elmo, Cookie Monster, and unicorns.
Several customers expressed their excitement about the new store. Olivia Perez, a Victorville resident, shared, “They don’t say much, but Sam and Ravin are the friendliest business owners we know. When we walked into their old place, they treated us like family. My kids love them.”
Recognition in the Community
Ravin’s Donuts has received accolades from the community, including being voted a top choice in the Daily Press’ Best of Desert competition.
The new shop is located at 20152 Outer Highway 18 N, Suite A, in Apple Valley.
