Stan’s Donuts Introduces Affy Tapple Doughnut for Fall.

Stan’s Donuts is celebrating the season by launching its new Affy Tapple doughnut, priced at $5.95. This unique treat pays homage to a local favorite, the Affy Tapple apples, which are well-known for being a staple at Jewel grocery stores.

Unlike typical doughnuts, the Affy Tapple doughnut offers a different experience. While a dry and hard texture is usually a negative trait for a doughnut, this one requires a warm knife to cut through it, staying true to its name.

Much like the Affy Tapple apple, the doughnut serves as a vessel for the rich caramel. The thick, sticky caramel is generously topped with salty chopped peanuts, making it the highlight of the treat. Though it may not be as moist as Stan’s renowned Apple Fritter, the focus here is on the Affy Tapple experience.

If you’re interested in trying this seasonal doughnut, it will be available until October 29.
