Gilbert residents can now satisfy their sweet cravings as Randy’s Donuts, a popular doughnut chain from Los Angeles, has opened its latest location. This new store, situated at 4935 S. Val Vista Dr., is the third Randy’s Donuts in Arizona. It features a convenient drive-thru for those on the go. The shop will open daily at 6 a.m. to cater to early risers.
To celebrate the grand opening, the first hundred customers in line received a complimentary glazed doughnut. Additionally, all visitors on the opening day had the chance to enter a contest for a chance to win free doughnuts for a year. The winner will be announced on Monday, October 14. This initiative reflects Randy’s commitment to building a loyal customer base in Arizona, according to Pulling Corks and Forks.
Brian Padilla, the local managing partner, expressed his excitement about entering the Arizona market. “It’s been very exciting to come into the Arizona market. People know Randy’s Donuts from movies and TV shows, and many Arizonans are familiar with the brand from their travels to Southern California. We’re honored to be a part of the company’s 70+ year legacy,” Padilla stated. He is working with partners Richard Suzuki and Carlos Munoz, with plans for further expansion into Arizona, New Mexico, and El Paso, Texas.
Randy’s Donuts is known for its iconic 32-foot doughnut sign at its original Inglewood location since 1962. The chain offers over 60 types of handcrafted doughnuts. Customers can enjoy their treats with Randy’s unique coffee blend, Randy’s Roast, as well as boba drinks, breakfast sandwiches, frappes, and real ice cream milkshakes. The doughnuts are made fluffier using proprietary ingredients at all locations, as reported by ABC15.
With this new location, Randy’s Donuts continues to grow in Arizona, having previously opened stores in Phoenix and Chandler. There are also plans for a Scottsdale outlet in the near future, hinting at more sweet options for local customers.
