Stan’s Donuts & Coffee Partners with Affy Tapple for Unique Treat.
Chicago-based Stan’s Donuts & Coffee has announced an exciting collaboration with the renowned Chicago confectioner Affy Tapple. This partnership combines the iconic products of both brands—donuts, caramel apples, and peanuts—creating a unique new treat.
The Affy Tapple Donut has been a passion project for Stan’s founder and chief doughboy, Rich Labriola, since 2020. Inspired by the nostalgic flavors of fall, Labriola has worked hard to develop this innovative donut. It blends the sweetness of a caramel apple with the fluffy texture of a classic Stan’s donut, topped with crunchy peanuts.
The Affy Tapple Donut will launch in select Stan’s Donuts & Coffee locations across Chicago and the surrounding suburbs on Wednesday, October 2, and will be available until Tuesday, October 29.
“This collaboration has been a dream of mine for years,” Labriola said. “Growing up in Chicago, Affy Tapple has always been a beloved treat, especially in the fall. I’m thrilled to finally make this vision a reality and share it with our customers. It perfectly combines two classic Chicago favorites, and I believe it will be a big hit!”
